Stuff I Love

This may seem like a weird page to have on my author website, but I've always wanted to share about products I really, truly dig, and so, here it is! Full disclosure: As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, but this is not about me selling you on anything...it is about me telling you about some stuff I use that I love so much, I'm actually willing to vouch for it. I hope you find it helpful!

Noshables

These are all clean edible products. I have to avoid gluten, dairy and soy, and the bars by Aloha do all that plus provide a decent amount of plant-based protein and taste delicious! They have other flavors, but these three are my favs. I also LOVE apple chips...and it's hard to find a big bag at a regular store, and these by Bare are made with minimal ingredients and make a great snack. Barney Butter is the best, smoothest almond butter on the market. All the Simple Mills products are delish. The HU bars are terrific for satisfying a chocolate craving without dragging you back on the sugar train. And I freaking love the chocolate collagen by Vital Proteins and put it in my shakes for the added bennies.

Personal Care Products

Best hairbrush I've ever owned. Works like a brush and a comb and detangles with ease. Great for my long hair...and any hair! I can't recommend this enough!
Wow, wow and WOW! This is the best eyelash curler I've ever used. I cannot believe how it transforms my lashes, which stick straight out and are not curled in the slightest. Nor are they long. With little effort and no pulling, this little gadget gives me lashes that stay curled all day! And yes, I've used other and had a lash perm. Never again.
Electric toothbrushes are GAME CHANGERS. They improve your dental health with very little effort. Incredible difference. If you regularly go to the dentist, your cleanings will be shorter and your problems fewer. If you don't go, this is gonna save you, too! But P.S. Go to the dentist!
If you hate flossing, this gadget is your new BFF. It's for us lazy flossers. True story: I ignored flossing the first half of my life, and later realized if I hadn't, my dental health would have been SO much better. I still use floss, but I also alternate with this nifty gadget. Like the electric toothbrush, this is GAME CHANGING for your dental health.

Years ago, my awesome aesthetician enlightened me about never using soap on my face, and introduced me to the Dermalogica line of products. I'm now a superfan who's never looked back—and I don't use soap on my face anymore, either!
I love this Dermalogica daily moisturizer. It took me a while to believe said aesthetician about this practice because I hate the feeling of anything on my face, but this does the trick of giving me the moisture I need without feeling anything residual. It's perfect!
In addition to food intolerances, I discovered years ago I could no longer wear most deodorants after I became allergic to standard ingredients. Through trial and error, I've come to love  this brand, which gives me everything I need without issue. They have plenty of scents to choose from, too.
For ladies who need a helping hand with pesky hair growth, this one for your face works nicely.

Kitchen Musts!

I use my blender everyday, and still it took YEARS of being frustrated with other brands before I invested in a Vitamix. Three words: Never Going Back. This is, by far, the most superior blender available and you never have to dismantle it to clean up (major freaking bonus). Do yourself a favor and buy one. And this price? Hella good!!!
Another gadget I don't know why I waited so long to buy. Now that I smoke fish and meats, it was imperative, but honestly, it's come in handy for roasts inside my oven, too. Just get one...you won't be sorry, and you won't have to guess about the temperature of your goodies ever again!
You have one of these, right? For times when you don't want or need a probe, this quick temp check gets the job done.
I make a lot of pizza and this pro slicer is way better than the old wheel kind. This comes in four sizes but do yourself a favor and get the 16" or 18". You're gonna love it AND feel super legit when you slice your pies!
Y'all, this is a kitchen essential. And beyond the normal stuff you might mix in here (batters for baked goods, whip cream, etc.), you can also shred chicken like a boss!
Another total kitchen essential! You can do all kinds of cool things with this food chopper: slice, dice, make dough and more.
Easy peasy to make ice cream or sorbet. Treat yo'self!
I've used a lot of tools to julienne veggies, including a spiralizer. Save yourself the trouble and use these cheap handhelds...they work great and I never slice myself!

Books

You didn't honestly think I would skip this, did you? I have zillions of book recs, so I am just going to list a scant list of old and new favorites.
